Built to Cite™

Your $2 million buyer is asking AI who to call.
Right now.

Is it handing him your name — or your competitor’s?

Your buyers stopped scrolling Google and started asking AI a question — then trusting the answer. When the AI answers, it can’t read your beautiful photographs. It reads structure, specifics, and proof. If your site doesn’t give it those, it cites someone else. I fix that. I know I can, because I did it for my own business first.

Here’s what that looks like.

This is a real business that was invisible to AI search — and now isn’t. Same queries a buyer would actually type. Every result dated, every citation live.

Query: “glazed enamel countertops florida.” Google's AI names the business directly and points buyers to it — above century-old European competitors.

Four weeks from a cold start. That’s the method. It’s repeatable.

Why you’re invisible — and it’s fixable

The traffic moved. The overlap between top Google links and the sources AI actually cites has fallen below 20% — so ranking on Google no longer means getting found by AI. They’re two different games now, and almost nobody is playing the second one on purpose.

AI answer engines cite structured, specific, verifiable content. A gorgeous site built on photographs and glowing testimonials gives them nothing extractable. The work exists — the machine just can’t read it. That’s not a flaw in your business. It’s a format problem, and format problems are fixable fast.

What I build for you

Citation-engineered project pages and blogs — your real work, your real client stories, restructured so AI answer engines can find, trust, and quote them. FAQ schema, named entities, verifiable proof, clean markup. I deliver finished files to your inbox; your team publishes them. I never touch your website.

Old projects, newly published, rank beautifully. You may already have everything we need — it just needs to be built to be cited.

Who builds this

I’m Jeff Downing. Before I spent 25 years as the sole craftsman behind a luxury architectural glass studio — with work in the homes of Palmer Luckey, Prince Aga Khan IV, and the CEOs of Taiwan Semiconductor and Norwegian Cruise Lines — I spent two decades as a top enterprise-technology closer for Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Philips, winning against GE and Siemens. Chemistry degree, University of Pittsburgh.

That combination — enterprise sales discipline, a chemist’s rigor, and a working craftsman’s first-hand voice — is exactly what AI citation engines reward and what generic agencies can’t fake. Built to Cite is the same method that took my own business from zero AI citations to category dominance, applied to yours.
